What buyers ask before they order
These are the answers the sales desk gives on the phone, written down. Where a number has not been confirmed by the plant it is marked rather than guessed.

What is the minimum order?
The line runs a minimum of xxx metres of big roll. How many pouches that comes to depends on the size of the pouch, so tell us the dimensions and we will work the count back for you.

How is the price worked out?
By the film the job needs: the layer structure, the size, the number of colours, the pouch format, and the quantity being run.
Is there a charge for the printing cylinders?
Yes, and how it is settled is up to you. You can deal with the cylinder maker and pay them directly, or pay us and set the terms in a continuing production agreement, or we can agree something else between us.
How long does production take?
Counted from the purchase order and an approved paper proof: an ordinary film spec takes 20 to 45 days, and a repeat run takes 14 to 25 days. Reserving the material in advance can be quicker. A special spec takes 60 days or more, and we tell you which one yours is before you commit.
Can we see a sample before the real run?
Yes. Once the quoted price is agreed we produce a sample for you to test, so both sides are sure before the line starts.
How can we pay?
A new account pays cash for at least the first four invoices. If those go through without trouble, we look at credit terms, starting at 15 to 30 days.
Do you design the artwork?
No. We print from your AI file. We can adjust type sizes and shift the layout a little to suit the process, and we can point you at designers who do this work.
Does the price stay the same?
It moves with the raw-material market. As a rule the more you run, the better the price per pouch.
What is the tolerance on size and on quantity?
Pouch dimensions and seal position sit within xxx mm; anything tighter has to be looked at before the run. Delivered quantity is normally within xxx% of the order.

Can you run food and cosmetics work, and can you certify it?
Yes, for every industry — the line runs food-grade film from end to end. A certificate of analysis (COA) goes out with every production lot and every delivery.
Is freight included in the price?
In the quoted price, yes — within Bangkok and the surrounding provinces.
How is a new job proofed?
We ask you to come and stand at the press for the first run of a new design. It is faster than sending proofs back and forth and it answers questions in the room. We will collect you and take you back.
Can you help us decide the spec?
That is what R&D is for — they work out the film structure that suits your product. Our technicians will also come to your plant and help set the pack up on your own filling line.
What do you do well?
We produce and deliver quickly, and when something goes wrong we can put a team in front of you fast. Both of those are easier to mean when printing, laminating and pouch making all happen on one site.
Is the product guaranteed?
One year from the date of manufacture, on pouches or roll stock that have not been filled. They have to be stored at room temperature, out of sunlight and away from water. Past a year the guarantee is over, but we will still sample the stock and test it for you.

Which films and structures can you run?
PET, OPP, nylon, K-nylon, metallised PET, metallised CPP, aluminium foil, EVOH, CPP, retort CPP, LLDPE, kraft paper, greaseproof paper and others. The structure is built around what the pack has to do.
Can we set our own film thickness?
Yes — tell us the spec and the gauge you want. R&D will advise on what actually suits the product if you would rather they did.
How many colours can you print?
Up to 10 on either of two presses. A third runs 8, and a 9-colour press is being added.
Which pouch shapes can you make?
Stand-up pouches with the gusset formed in or inserted, both able to take a zipper; three-side seal, also with a zipper; centre seal; centre seal with side gussets; four-side seal with side gussets; flat bottom; spouted pouches for cosmetics and drinks; and roll stock.
Can it keep moisture out, keep light out, hold a vacuum, take a retort?
Tell us what the pack has to survive and the film spec is built for it. That covers vacuum, and retort for a pouch that has to take pressure and heat and come out of a boiling or steaming cycle intact.
What can be fitted to the pouch?
Plain zipper, pocket zipper, one-way degassing valve for coffee, spout and cap, lipstick cap, die-cut shapes and carry handles, a clear window, matt or gloss varnish, and a clear front with an aluminium-foil back.
What finishes are available?
Aluminium foil shown gloss or matt, holographic, and others.
What are the production steps?
Gravure printing, then lamination — dry solvent-based, dry solvent-free, or PE extrusion coating — then slitting to the roll width, then the pouch machine set for the format.
What is the output?
About 200,000 pieces an hour with every machine running.
What are you certified to?
ISO 9001:2015, GHPs, HACCP and BRC/IoP, all certified by BSI.
