About this format
Where our job ends and yours begins
If you already run a VFFS line (film folded into a tube, filled from the top, sealed top and bottom), an HFFS line (formed and filled lying down, then sealed) or a stick-pack machine, you do not need a finished pouch from us. You need the film. We print it, laminate the structure, slit it to your web width and core, add the eye-mark your sensor looks for, and wind it the way your unwind expects. PE, PET, BOPP, CPP and NY — the raw material behind every shape on this site.

It has to survive the trip.

What it is made of
The lines this film runs on
Every category we pack for asks the film something different, and the structure changes to match.
01
Snacks & confectionery
Speed and crispness, formed on your line at rate and sealed against moisture.
All
All industries
Four more categories on the full list.
02
Frozen food
Cold makes film brittle; the structure is chosen so the seal survives the freezer.
03
Pharma & supplements
The pack is part of the product's stability, and the structure answers to your file.
04
Coffee & tea
Beans give off gas for days; the film breathes one way and seals the other.
05
Sauces & ready meals
Wet, oily, acidic, often sterilised in the pack. The seal has to close through product.
06
Agriculture & dry goods
Sold by the kilo, stacked on a pallet, left outside longer than anyone plans.
07
Pet food
Fat and weight, in one pack. It has to hold the load and not let the oil through.
Questions
What buyers ask before they order
- What can be fitted to the pouch?
Plain zipper, pocket zipper, one-way degassing valve for coffee, spout and cap, lipstick cap, die-cut shapes and carry handles, a clear window, matt or gloss varnish, and a clear front with an aluminium-foil back.
- Can we see a sample before the real run?
Yes. Once the quoted price is agreed we produce a sample for you to test, so both sides are sure before the line starts.
- How long does production take?
Counted from the purchase order and an approved paper proof: an ordinary film spec takes 20 to 45 days, and a repeat run takes 14 to 25 days. Reserving the material in advance can be quicker. A special spec takes 60 days or more, and we tell you which one yours is before you commit.

Tell us what goes inside, how long it has to last and how it gets filled.
Have these three ready and the first reply can be an answer
- What goes inside — the product itself, not the category
- How long it has to stay good on a shelf
- How it gets filled: by hand, or on your own machine

How a roll is actually made
Four passes, in this order. Gravure prints the design onto the outer film. Lamination bonds it to the barrier and sealant layers. Slitting cuts the wide reel down to your web width. Rewinding puts it on your core, in your direction, at your metre count. Every pass costs set-up metres before the first good one.
